N2N

aims to provide a forum on political, social and cultural change and policy, building a bridge between intellectual debates in the Balkans, Europe and the world, as well as offering an exciting exchange of ideas and the highest quality commentaries and analysis by distinguished voices. We argue that we need a wider and wiser debate on the Balkans. N2N is committed to maintaining the broad intellectual scope and global reach that readers need to understand the choices shaping their lives reflecting the region and the world in all its variety of professions, national and cultural backgrounds and political perspectives. The forum is open to ideas and submissions from anywhere, original and creative, able to propose and debate solutions to the real problems that we all face. The discussion will be based on arguments, while the views will be thoughtful and accessible to all.

The N2N operates as a network of networks, and is part of the Navarino Network, a recently established public policy innovation civil society initiative related to Thessaloniki and the Balkan region, with the support of a number of research centres and foundations, as well as individuals. We will publish weekly on our main site, with our small team of staff and dedicated volunteers. All submissions are reviewed by editors who decide on publication. N2N encourages also editorial projects, which are part of N2N but are run autonomously with their own funding.

The content of the website is divided currently into two categories, articles and a library of documents and web links, containing the same thematic subsections. Searches can be performed within the entire content of the website, as well as only within the library. Registered users can propose new ideas, and comment on the content directly on the website using the comments section.
